Tonight's Special...

Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and spicy bread crumbs - the green flecks are basil. Sounds simple but it was super yummy. The spicyness is from red pepper flakes. Something I learned with this is that when you add olive oil to freshly drained hot pasta, it smells really nutty. I mean, I knew olive oil smells nutty when its hot - but the mixture of buttery toasted bread crumbs and the oil was very fragrant...



Also, I was asked to make dinner for a friend and his mom on Saturday. I'm making herb rubbed grilled rack of lamb with butternut squash risotto and brushetta for an appetizer.
